The Board of Trustees of Ohio Northern University invites inquiries, nominations, and applications for an innovative leader to serve as the 12th president. The Board seeks an inspirational, collaborative, and decisive leader to build on ONU’s 150-year legacy of academic excellence and achievement and develop an ambitious plan to propel the institution to future success. The new president is expected to assume office in Summer 2022.

The president will be responsible for engaging and uniting the campus community in developing an innovative vision and strategy for the institution; building a sustainable financial model that maintains and enhances ONU’s high-quality academic programs; growing the institutions’ annual fund and endowment; embracing and promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion; creating the conditions for a strong campus community; supporting and advocating for the use of novel and innovative teaching, technologies, and learning modalities; and cultivating meaningful partnerships to advance the mission and academic goals of ONU.
